Honestly, this didn’t really feel like a “tour” in the usual sense, which I liked. We learned about the Three Kingdoms at Wuhou Shrine, walked around Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley, stopped for tea, ate some great local food, and just had time to enjoy the city. Our guide was really easy to talk to and never made us feel rushed. It felt more like exploring Chengdu with someone who actually lives here.

Really enjoyed this tour. Wuhou Shrine was much more interesting than I expected, especially with the stories explained along the way. I also loved the tea stop at People’s Park. A relaxed and easy way to see different sides of Chengdu.

We had such a great day exploring Chengdu. Starting somewhere quiet and traditional and ending with the city lights around SKP and the Twin Towers made the day feel really varied. Lunch was delicious, the pace was relaxed, and we never felt rushed. It felt more like spending the day with a local friend than joining a typical tour.

We only had a limited amount of time in Chengdu, so this was a great way to experience both the history and everyday atmosphere of the city in one day. Wuhou Shrine was definitely one of the highlights. I knew very little about the Three Kingdoms beforehand, but the background stories made the visit much easier to understand and appreciate. What I liked most was that the day wasn’t only about sightseeing. We had time to slow down at People’s Park, try local food, walk through different neighbourhoods, and finish around Jiuyan Bridge in the evening. There was quite a lot included, but the pace still felt comfortable and flexible. A very well-balanced introduction to Chengdu.
